The Low-Post Block, This is where we will spend most of our time learning the post/center play basics. I want the player close-in to the basket and as the player grasps skills and progresses, well then move all over the key. Starting with a good stance and feet placed outside the lane line, I want the players low foot (nearest baseline) above or barely touching the low box. This will become apparent soon. Players should always be cognizant of where the lines and post markings are, as they move about. This comes with repetition.
And most of all, the key to improve your basketball skills is to never give up. Keep practicing even though you feel fatigued or think that you have reached what you think is your top-level game. The best players always know that they still have a lot to learn about the game. There is still a long way to go if you wish to improve your basketball skills. The way to get better at it is having the determination, the proper motivation and the right amount of effort to excel at the game.
